11 weeks and counting.

Today marks the 11th completed week of our pregnancy! Its almost the end of the risky, scary "will this work" time. As such it brings with it a great sense of relief. Of course, anything can happen at any time, but I love that the statistics are looking in my favour!! I've been getting poor quality sleep because I have to pee several times a night . Somehow, I don't know what it is [ok well mostly its b/c I need to pee] but I am ALWAYS awake at 3am, every single night. I tell you hormones do the strangest things! [One night it wasn't my body waking me, but the cat falling on my head, but thats a story for another day perhaps.]

The past week has been very full as we attempt to unpack our very full house. A complication to the process is that while this is a 2 bedroom house, one of the rooms looks like this:

Termites ate all the floor joists rendering the room completely unusable. We either need to spend Uncle Kevin's gift of $900 on a new floor, and get it done asap, or wait until CCI, the house's owners have the money to fix it. [Before anyone gets their knickers in a knot, we're not paying market value rent, phew!]

My short term solution, which Andrew is yet to agree with, is to put wooden pallets [of which we have an abundance] down on the ground to create at least a storage area until the floor is done.

I have more {good} things about our new house, including the chooks that I'd love to show you, however our old neighbour borrowed my camera over a week ago, and hasn't returned it. Grrr.
