I made many lemon meringue tartlets - which Sam wasn't so impressed with because she'd made them too! I won on pastry, but her meringue was much better, as I rushed mine too much.
I also made Fig and Rum Truffles, a la Stephanie Alexander, and finally Cinnamon Pastry Twists.
The Twists are great b/c they're cheap, easy and impressive. Here's a recipe for them with lots of variations.
I wasn't organised to take a picture. Oh well, just believe me that they tasted yum!
